Moon and Sun Pendant in Gilded Silver with Mother-of-Pearl
A round mother-of-pearl centre brings together a full crescent moon and an open sunray motif.
The lower section is shaped as a softly curved moon. Above it, the metal opens into radiating sunrays, while the mother-of-pearl is raised at the point where the two symbols meet. The silhouette remains clearly defined despite the pendant’s small size and can be read from every angle.
The mother-of-pearl is held in a raised setting and creates a soft play of light against the more pronounced forms surrounding it. The combination of the crescent moon and sun motif makes the pendant immediately recognisable and gives it both symbolic meaning and decorative clarity.
The strength of the design lies in the way the moon, the rays, and the mother-of-pearl centre are held together within a unified composition. The warm 18K gold plating emphasises the outline, while the mother-of-pearl forms a luminous focal point at the centre of the pendant.
The pendant is made in 925 silver and is suspended from a chain measuring approximately 50 centimetres. It is a small yet clearly structured symbolic composition made from precious and natural materials.
