Genuine Keshi Pearls in a Four-Strand Vintage Bracelet
Four twisted strands of genuine keshi pearls in white, grey, pink and dark green iridescent tones form a bracelet with generous width, concentrated lustre and shifting colour around the wrist.
Keshi pearls are composed entirely of nacre. Their elongated, irregular forms catch the light from changing angles and give each strand its own rhythm. White and soft pink meet grey tones and dark green iridescent pearls, whose colour deepens as the bracelet moves.
The four strands are loosely twisted, creating new colour combinations with every movement. The supple construction follows the wrist, while the broad surface of pearls gives the bracelet a distinct presence with silk, knitwear and solid-coloured garments.
The bracelet has been restrung on new nylon thread with knots between the pearls. This construction keeps the pearls aligned throughout all four strands. The ball-shaped magnetic clasp in gold-tone metal replaces the previous clasp and follows the bracelet’s original character. It can be opened with one hand. Magnetic clasps are unsuitable for people with pacemakers.
