Men’s ring in 830 silver with oxidised decoration, featuring the Swedish Coastal Artillery emblem on the shield and a stylised lightning pattern along the sides.

The front is dominated by a raised shield with darkened relief. The motif depicts the heraldic emblem of the Swedish Coastal Artillery, later also used by the Amphibious Corps: two crossed early-pattern gun barrels above a flaming grenade and waves, rendered in gold against a red field according to TFG 790011. A wave pattern follows the edge of the shield and firmly connects the ring with Sweden’s naval artillery tradition.

A decorated band extends from the shield along both sides of the ring. Four zigzag lightning motifs are separated by dots and straight segments. The lightning should be understood as a decorative element rather than a regulation branch insignia, probably chosen as a visual reference to the fire, force and thunder of artillery.

The ring brings together several historic Swedish military symbols on a small scale. The crossed gun barrels relate to the artillery emblem introduced with model m/1906, while the flaming grenade belongs to the later symbolic tradition associated with m/1939–1960. The addition of waves and the Coastal Artillery emblem identifies it as a commissioned ring with a clear connection to the Swedish Coastal Artillery, probably produced as a commemorative ring for a coastal artillery serviceman or within a regimental association.
