Silver Dolphin Ring with 70 Tanzanites
A sculpted dolphin sweeps across the front of the ring, covered with light violet tanzanites.
The ring is shaped as a dolphin motif with a clear sense of movement across the hand. The curved band transitions into a crossover-style dolphin head, directing the motif diagonally across the ring rather than holding it within a symmetrical centre.
Seventy pavé-set tanzanites follow the surface, defining the volume of the body, its contours, and its fluid marine movement. The stones’ light violet colour is concentrated across the figure, allowing the motif to appear both as a sculpted animal form and as a continuous field of colour.
The ring has a bold statement presence and reflects a late 20th-century figurative jewellery style in which movement, marine imagery, and a richly stone-set surface are brought together within a single sculptural form. Its weight of approximately 9 grams provides a substantial silver foundation beneath the stones and strengthens the ring’s sculptural presence.
