Ordering, Payment, and Delivery

Pre-order objects

Terms of Purchase

  • The agreement is concluded once the client has confirmed the obligation to pay and Aegis Atreifs AB has issued a written order confirmation.
  • The order confirmation specifies the object, purchase option, price or price limit, costs, payment terms, and estimated delivery.
  • Auction results cannot be guaranteed. When a Fixed Price purchase is unsuccessful, the deposit is refunded in full.
  • Second-hand and older objects may display disclosed signs of age and use. The description may never restrict the client’s statutory right to make a complaint.
Fixed Price and Personal Price Limit

Payment and Delivery

  • A Fixed Price order is confirmed with a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is payable after a successful purchase and before delivery.
  • Under the Personal Price Limit option, the final amount may not exceed the limit confirmed in writing.
  • All mandatory costs must be displayed before the order is placed. No hidden charges are added.
  • Aegis Atreifs remains responsible for the object during transport until it has been received by the client.

Right of Withdrawal, Returns, and Complaints

Distance purchases

Right of Withdrawal, Returns, and Refunds

  • Consumers normally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal beginning on the day after the goods are received.
  • The return must be sent no later than 14 days after the client has notified Aegis Atreifs that the purchase is being withdrawn.
  • The refund is issued using the original payment method and includes the standard delivery charge. Aegis Atreifs may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or the client has provided proof that they have been sent.
  • The client pays the return postage when this was disclosed before the purchase. A deduction for diminished value may be made only where permitted by law.
  • In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, a voluntary return period is offered until day 30 for an unused object in the same condition. The terms of the voluntary return period never restrict the statutory right of withdrawal.
Faulty goods

Complaints and Consumer Protection

  • The statutory right to complain about an original defect applies for three years from the date on which the goods were received and also covers second-hand goods.
  • A complaint made within two months of discovering the defect is always considered to have been submitted within a reasonable time.
  • As a general rule, defects that become apparent during the first two years are presumed to be the seller’s responsibility unless evidence shows otherwise.
  • Depending on the circumstances, the client may be entitled by law to repair, replacement, a price reduction, cancellation of the purchase, or damages.

Search Service and Personal Data

Separately paid service

Terms for the Search Service

  • The active search begins only after the client has approved the search profile, search package, and service fee.
  • The service covers searching, reviewing, and presenting suitable options. It does not guarantee that an object will be found or available for purchase.
  • A presented object is purchased only through a separate order under the Fixed Price or Personal Price Limit option.
  • The service normally carries a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date on which the agreement is concluded. When the work begins during the withdrawal period at the client’s express request, proportionate payment may be charged for work already performed.
GDPR

Privacy Policy

  • The policy explains which personal data is processed, why it is required, the legal basis for processing, and how long the data is retained.
  • Personal data may be shared with Shopify, payment providers, carriers, and other service providers where this is necessary to provide the service.
  • Subject to the applicable legal requirements, the client has rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.
  • Questions concerning personal data should be sent to ulrik@aegisatreifs.se.
