Specialist Search for Collectable Objects

Continuous search over 3 or 6 months Select the search period according to the object’s availability and market conditions

For collectors seeking a specific object, a particular model, or an unusual variation that appears only occasionally on the market.

The specialist search is designed for objects where a standard object selection conducted over a short search period would be unlikely to produce sufficient results. These may include collectables, historic jewellery, unusual design objects, specific makers, particular models, military rings, commemorative objects, or objects with a particular marking, provenance, form, or technical characteristic.

Aegis Atreifs monitors relevant auctions and marketplaces throughout the selected search period. The monitoring is based on an approved object profile specifying the required characteristics and any acceptable variations.

The object profile may include the object type, maker, designer, country of origin, period, material, markings, measurements, size, motif, construction, condition, price range, and maximum estimated total cost.

When a relevant object becomes available, the published information is reviewed before the object is presented. The review covers the available description, images, markings, condition, price, fees, and correspondence with the approved object profile.

The client receives information about the object together with an estimate of the expected total cost. The client may then decline the object or proceed through a separate order under the Fixed Price or Personal Price Limit option.

The enquiry is reviewed before a package is ordered. The object profile is prepared and confirmed on the basis of the information provided by the client.

The search period begins after the object profile has been approved and the selected package has been ordered.

The assignment covers market monitoring, review of relevant objects, presentation, and reporting in accordance with the contents of the selected package.

The availability of a particular collectable object is determined by the market. The service therefore does not guarantee that an object matching the approved profile will become available during the search period.

When no suitable object has been found, a final report is prepared summarising the search results and the available information concerning the object type’s presence on the market.

The price of the object, auction fees, shipping, insurance, taxes, and costs connected with a subsequent separate order are not included in the specialist search service fee.

When the client selects a presented object, a separate order is created under the Fixed Price or Personal Price Limit option.
